Welcome to our online community engagement information pages in relation to the proposed development of the site at the corner of St. George’s Road and Grant Street in Glasgow for Student Accommodation, including associated student facilities and ground floor commercial floorspace.

This engagement forms part of the formal pre-application consultation which is being undertaken prior to the submission of a planning application to Glasgow City Council.

Whilst this site will provide you with information in relation to the proposed development, we are also holding two face to face events, where members of the public can drop in, view the plans, and speak to members of the project team about the proposed development. Those face to face events are to be held at the Mitchell Library on North Street, Glasgow as follows:

• Thursday 23^rd February 2023 – 2pm – 7pm (Drop-in session format)
• Thursday 23^rd March 2023 – 2pm – 7pm (Drop-in session format)

The content of this website seeks to serve as a backdrop to those events and present the background to the proposals, our vision for the site and how the proposed development has evolved, using the overarching principle of maximising the opportunity to deliver a high quality place that successfully responds to its context.

Get Involved

We encourage the local community and other stakeholders to view our emerging proposals, prior to the submission of a formalised planning application to Glasgow City Council. We would be delighted to receive your feedback and comments, to help capture the views of those who partake in the consultation. The feedback will be used to guide the eventual content of the planning application.
